The German broadcaster Sender Freies Berlin (SFB) existed from 12 November 1953 to 30 April 2003 as the public service radio for West Berlin, from 1990 for the whole of Berlin. It then was merged into the Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (RBB).
