A recording label unit, founded in 1999 following the reincarnation of the Universal Music Group.
This umbrella unit was formed following the merger of MCA's Interscope Records and Geffen Records and PolyGram's A&M Records.
Labels that were absored into IGA include: A&M Records in 1999, DGC and MCA Records in 2003 and DreamWorks Records in 2004. A&M was later revived as A&M/Octone Records in 2007 alongside DGC Records. Rosters of artists from MCA and DreamWorks were altogether drafted to Geffen following the labels' absorptions. In 2013, A&M/Octone Records folded back into the unit, as so DGC Records in 2021, taking all of its artists to Interscope/Geffen.
In February 2024, the group was merged with Capitol Records to become Interscope Capitol Labels Group, a new music label unit under Universal Music Group.
