Danish label established by Anne Linnet and Jan Degner in late 1986 under parent company Pladecompagniet ApS. Initially releasing Linnet's own music, the label quickly became a major Danish label for well-established artists. In 1990 the parent company was restructured into Pladecompagniet A/S. Pladecompagniet A/S was sold to Sony Music Entertainment (Denmark) A/S on 1 July 1994 and managing director Degner took the same position at Sony in Denmark. After the sale, Pladecompagniet continued as a label for Danish artists under the Sony umbrella until c. 2001.
