Alias Frequencies started as a radio program on 2MBS-FM (in Australia) in the mid-1990s, and by 2000 it became a label specializing in experimental electronic music. It also has organised events, such as the Liquid Architecture festival in Sydney, and has provided web hosting for artists. After few years Alias Frequencies focused on publishing art and music online, with a netlabel and podcast.
