Originally studios 3 and 4 of Morgan Studios, the complex was rechristened Battery Studios after it was acquired by The Zomba Group Of Companies in 1980.
After Zomba was taken over by BMG in 1993, the studios were sold to BMG executive Martin Dodds and artist, who resold the recording rooms in the following years.
In-house producers at that time were: Chris Tsangarides, artist, artist, artist and artist.
