Multimedia production and distribution company, with branches in London, New York, Toronto, Paris and Hamburg. Incorporated 31st Jan 1997 as a Public Limited Company by artist, artist and Julian Paul, three former colleagues at Castle Communications. The company commenced trading on the 1st April 1997.
Principal activities: To acquire and create rights to recorded music, video, television and other visual programming. Exploitation of these rights through the releases of own label compact discs, audio cassettes and licensing these rights for a variety of media.
The company consisted of 4 divisions:
- Eagle Records, comprising the groups frontline, mid price and budget audio activities.
- label (Spitfire Records)
- Visual Programming
- Pegasus super budget audio and video.
As of the 30th June 1998 its principal UK distributor label initially owned 34% equity in the company, other shareholders included label and Intel Corporation. As of 2000 however Edel Music AG subsequently become the ultimate parent.

Eagle Rock Entertainment PLC is reregistered as a Private company label on 5th Dec 2001. On the 21st Dec 2001 the entire share capital of the company is acquired by Eagle Rock Group Ltd. (a newly incorporated holding company) with the backing of HgCapital (ultimate owner)
