Founded in 1986 by Léo Ferré and François Dacla, former director of RCA in France.
Also simply "EPM" or "E.P.M." = Edition Production Marketing (official) or "Et Puis Merde = And Then Shit" (unofficial, expression of Léo Ferré tired of the various problems encountered with his three previous labels).
In 2013, artist bought the company EPM and has been its director ever since.
