The Rajon Music Group was formed in July 2000 after the merger of 3 leading Australian independent record labels (Rajon Entertainment Pty Ltd, Redx Entertainment and Startel Entertainment).
Rajon was sold to digital media and marketing firm destra in 2005. destra's purchase, among others, failed to produce a media empire. destra collapsed in 2008.
Rajon Music Group releases were distributed by Sony Music in Australia.
