Canadian record company incorporated in 1988 by Ben Hoffman to split label Fringe Product from Record Peddler. That same year Fringe and Record Peddler were charged with criminal obscenity by the RCMP stemming from Dayglo Abortions releases; in 1990 the charges were cleared after a lengthy trial.
