Dualplover consolidated CD manufacturing was created in 1997 by lucas abela and Stephen "swerve (7)" Harris from the dualpLOVER label to help reduce the prohibitive expense of producing CD's in the mid 90's by joining forces with other like minded labels in order to reduce prices for everybody, due to the low australian dollar at the time word spread internationally and they started producing discs for labels all around the world including Pica Disk, Editions Mego, Release The Bats Records, R.I.P Society and many others.
They operated as a brokerage using various pressing plants including but not limited to regency recordings, AAV Regency, pmi and label most but not all discs they brokered have www.dualplover.com printed on the disc matrix.
