Budapest Music Center, also known as BMC, was founded in 1996 by CEO artist. It runs the record label Budapest Music Center Records since its foundation, as well as the Hungarian Musical Information Center and Library. From 2013 BMC has its headquarters in a completely renovated old apartment-house in the Mátyás utca, in downtown Budapest. The building has a 320-seat Concert Hall (used also for recordings), the cca 120-seat label, providing jazz concerts 4 or 5 times a week. BMC has its own studio facilities, runs the above mentioned Music Information Center and Library, and hosts the Peter Eötvös Contemporary Music Foundation.
