Short-lived independent South African label launched in 2002 as a subsidiary of Sheer Sound.
Under the helm of Kevin Ross Stuart it focused on local artists and the "more eclectic styles including drum 'n bass, big beats, acid jazz, hip-hop, trip hop and good house music." The label's first release, however, was comedian John Vlismas' "Man in Black" CD, with others by artist and Tribe following.
Both "Cape Town 2AM" compilations even saw licensing to German Peacelounge Recordings but in 2005 Ready Rolled was absorbed into Sheer Sound.
