Eastman started writing and producing in 1997. The first main project was Miss Moon a house music project with a german female vocalist. The collaboration's only release was 'Uptown - the remixes' in 1998 with remixes by none other than Wayne G., D-Bop, Kinky Roland and Eastman himself. The other tracks recorded have never been released. Uptown was released on his own label e2uk Recordings, which is now Thirteen[rec] and K:Haus Recordings known to be 13k.
