[b]Maxee[/b] was the primary alias of American singer-songwriter [a=Charmayne Maxwell] (1969—2015), best known for her work with Grammy-nominated R&B trio [a=Brownstone] in the 1990s (and after the band's reunion in 2007). She had a brief solo career in the UK, with Maxee's debut single, [i][m=194106][/i] released by [l=Mercury] in 2000, reaching number 55 on the UK Singles Chart.
