King Junior

The idea of bringing the songs and sounds of Elvis Presley into the dance music realm may at first appear to defy common sense. But in 2001, CAPP Records producer Cary August knew the combination would work after the idea sparked while catching a glimpse of King Junior (Rick Lenzi) on a national television news program over his morning coffee. After contacting Lenzi, August arranged to bring him into the studio, and a string of Elvis classics set to innovative dance productions was born.

As an Elvis impersonator, King Junior has garnered numerous awards, and has had countless televised appearances and concerts worldwide. Lenzi says, "I take my job as an Elvis entertainer very seriously, I am just trying to do the best impersonation I can to help keep the Elvis Presley legacy alive. No one will ever replace Elvis Presley, but, Lenzi says, We can help keep his memory alive, and bringing his music to dance music fans worldwide is one way to accomplish that.
