'The Girl Next Door' was an alias used by [a=M&S]; the companion project of [a=The Guy Next Door]. Both projects were originally released on the [l=Strictly Rhythm] label in 1996, with the tracks "Deeper" and "Justify". In 2000, [a=M&S] re-used this alias for 'Salsoul Nugget', a funky house cut composed of replayed samples taken from "Everyman" by [a=Double Exposure] (1976) and of "Hit and Run" by [a=Loleatta Holloway] (1977).
