German ambient musician, born 18 January, 1942 - died 27 January, 2009, in Ulm, Germany. Klaus Wiese was a multiinstrumentalist, specializing in ambient, meditative and healing acoustic music. He played the zither, chimes, Persian string instruments and more, and mastered Tibetan "singing" bowls, sometimes with vocals.
