American singer, poet and actor, born November 5, 1941, Forest Hills, New York, USA.
He is best known for his partnership in the 1960s and 1970s with Paul Simon in the folk rock duo Simon & Garfunkel. He is father of artist and he previously worked as a maths teacher.
