Add N to (X) went back to a duo called Radix Couplement, founded in London in 1994 by Andrew Aveling and [a=Justin Anderson], which was soon joined by Aveling's then partner Ann Shenton. A little later, Barry Smith joined the project. They performed as a quartet for a few months before Anderson left the band. The remaining trio then performed under the name Add N to X.
