US vocal group from the New Jersey area who were all prison convicts. Active from the early 1970s through to the 1980s. The original group was made up of seven singers; Reginald Haynes, Lawrence Franklin, Robert Arrington, William Dugger, Stephen Carter, Frank Heard, and Marion Murphy.
