Martin Kay

Martin Kay's career is one that has encompassed many years of hard work and dedication. He started DJ'ing early dance music in 1987 and has been producing records since 1993, back in the day, and started his Zazoo label in 1998. His music has been licensed to many compilations around the world, under his many different guises. Of late, Martin has concentrated his solo work under his own name as well as his Friskoboy moniker. He is also part of the successful SpacePunks production outfit.
Martin is the driving force behind Turquoise Egg management and oversees the running of the company. Turquoise Egg now looks after 4 labels and a plethora of some of the finest progressive house producers.

Martin is making a return to the decks in 2008, partly due to his recent sets in Argentina. "It's great to get back into the clubs again, I really missed playing out" The style of his sets are reminiscent of his productions, deep, dark progressive building into a climax with melodic patterns, stand out stab sequences and intricate edits and cut ups.
