Japanese punk band formed by activist [a=Michiro Endo] in Tokyo in 1980. He described choosing the name for two reasons: "The name Stalin is very hated by most people in Japan, so it is very good for our image," and, as a socialist, he felt Stalin represented "The downside to every good idea".
