Army Of The 23 Monkeys

Army of the 23 Monkeys are the 2 founders of Mad Monkey Records, Daniel De Los Santos and Eric Heinroth. AO23M was originally created to give Mad Monkey a live representation at a NYC-based "Artist and Computer" event (put on by Safety in Numbers). Eventually, they went on to do other shows in New York and Dallas, plus releasing a CD on Circumvent. Since the Army's beginnings, their sound has followed an improvisational path through IDM, NOISE, industrial and chaos. Although AO23M are the founders of Mad Monkey, the music they produce has little in common with the direction of MMR. Their reason for this: although they have a passion for what they release on MMR (or their 2 sub-labels: Circumvent and De Los Siete), their creative urge produces music that follows a different path.
