DJ Stacccato (born May 16, 1977 in Frankfurt am Main; real name Tobias Bosch) is a German DJ and music producer. Stacccato was born in Frankfurt and currently lives in Bremen. He began his career as a DJ here in 1996 under the pseudonym Awaline, and since 2001 he has been producing his own tracks with other producers such as Special D., Ollie Stan, and Axel Coon.
His biggest hits in Germany are "Always Hardcore" (a cover version of "Bodylotion"), "Move Your Body," "Can't You See (Get Up)," and "Changes." Stacccato entered the German singles charts in 2004 with the hands-up track "Can't You See (Get Up).
In music, staccato means "rapid, consecutive notes." In this case, however, "stacccato" is spelled with three "cs," thus becoming a separate brand.
In addition to his DJ work, he studied naval architecture until the summer of 2005, graduating with a degree in naval engineering and specializing in megayacht project management.
On September 26, 2009, he had his last performance as a resident DJ at the Ta-Töff discotheque in Bevern. On November 26, 2010, he celebrated his final party at Ta-Töff, thus ending his career as a DJ.
